What are the dates and times for the main MWAVE and MWAVE VIP Tours?
VIP Home Theater Tours run Wednesday through Friday, September 16–18, 2026. The main MWAVE Show is Saturday and Sunday, September 19–20, 2026 — open 9am to 5:30pm on Saturday and 9am to 4:30pm on Sunday.
What projectors are being included in the Projector Shootout?
We’ll have 15 projectors (and counting!) going head to head: the Epson LS12000, QB1000, LS9000, QL3000, and QL7000; the JVC NZ500, NZ700, NZ800, and NZ900; the Sony 6100, 7100, and 8100; the BenQ W5800; the Valerion VisionMaster Max; and the Xgimi Titan Noir Max. Every projector is fed the identical source, so any difference you see is the projector, not the setup.
Do you offer discounts for teachers, active military, seniors, etc.?
Not at this time — admission is a flat $50 for General Admission and $200 for VIP Home Theater Tours, with no discount categories. We keep pricing simple so it stays fair and accessible for everyone.
What can I do while in Kansas City?
Plenty! KC is famous for legendary barbecue and burnt ends, a deep jazz heritage around the 18th & Vine district and the American Jazz Museum, the buzzing Power & Light entertainment district, and the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art (yes, the giant shuttlecocks).
